John Hennessy, President & Chief Executive Officer
John Hennessy Since Mr. Hennessy founded Nuprecon in 1986, he has held several key leadership positions and continues to play a major role in influencing issues impacting the construction industry and community. Mr. Hennessy founded and co-chaired the Lead in Construction Task Force (1996-1998), a collaborative initiative with the Department of Labor and Industries, Organized Labor and the Construction Industry. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Washington Business and as the Vice Chairman of the Washington Policy Center, a public policy think tank. As Nuprecon has evolved into an innovative full–service demolition contractor, Mr. Hennessy places a high priority on excellence, professionalism and integrity.
Dave Whitley, Chief Operating Officer
Dave Whitley Mr. Whitley is an accomplished Executive who has provided creative leadership at the Corporate and Divisional levels for more than 20 years. He has a broad background in a range of disciplines including operations, business development, acquisitions, administration and sales and marketing. His current oversight responsibilities include day-to-day operations of the company's eight business unit Divisions, Consolidated Warehouse & logistics as well as select Corporate Services such as Safety, Human Resources and Training. He serves on the King County Solid Waste Advisory Commission and recently served on the Board of Directors of the National Demolition Association.
Pete Wold, Vice President
Pete Wold Mr. Wold brings 20 years of experience to Nuprecon, with extensive work in program management, construction management and executive management with key strengths in leading people and project teams, overseeing complex construction and environmental remediation projects and negotiating multi-million dollar contracts. His current responsibilities include Management of the Environmental Services Division, EWR, as well as Nuprecon's Pacific Division based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Bryan Diloreto, Vice President
Bryan Diloreto Mr. DiLoreto began his career in the steel industry as a plant manager and brings over 10 years of management experience to his role as Nuprecon’s Vice President, responsible for the Washington and National Divisions. He has developed extensive experience in sales, estimating and construction techniques. His management skills include leadership, team building, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring project compliance, developing contingency plans, maintaining communication between team members to ensure needs are met, determining cost driving factors and assisting in developing containment/savings programs.
Bobby Smith, EWR Division Manager
Bobby Smith Mr. Smith brings 20 years of asbestos abatement experience at many levels to his role as EWR Division Manager. He has a background that includes field operations, business development, consulting, and management. His technical and team building skills have been instrumental to the growth of EWR in Washington as well as its expansion into Oregon and Hawaii markets.
Paul Matera, Oregon Division Manager
Paul Matera Mr. Matera brings 22 years of experience in the construction & consulting industry, providing executive leadership and strategic direction to environmental, geotechnical and special inspection operations all over the western US and Hawaii. He has managed thousands of projects in industrial, mixed use, transportation, retail and heavy civil giving him the real world experience required to manage client expectations successfully. In his role as Oregon Division Manager for Nuprecon, his focus is to provide our clients with the very best service and technical expertise for their demolition, remediation, recycling and saw cutting needs.
Alex Cates, Pacific Division Manager
Alex Cates Mr. Cates brings an architectural background combined with over 15 years of management and consulting experience ranging from architecture and design to manufacturing and distribution. His blend of professional business and financial management combined with a stylistic approach to internal and external team development has grown Nuprecon's Pacific Regional office into a multi-division office offering full-service demolition, abatement, remediation and concrete sawing & drilling. His skill set includes sales, marketing and estimating, CAD design, project management, P&L responsibility, market penetration and development, public relations and team building.
Todd Smith, ReNu Division Manager
Todd Smith Mr. Smith brings 17 years of experience as an accomplished and creative manager at a divisional level to the position of Division Manager at ReNu Recycling Services, Nuprecon’s Construction & Demolition debris waste collection and hauling business. As Division Manager, he has full responsibility for the business unit, including P&L, sales, marketing, operations and service quality. He has a solid reputation as a team builder and a business to business service specialist. He brings expertise in implementing growth strategies for sales, market development and partnership building to ReNu.
Eric Willig, Senior Business Development Manager
Eric Willig Mr. Willig studied business at Westmont College and at the University of California, San Diego. He possesses a broad background in a range of disciplines including business development, sales and marketing, product and program management, operations, and technology. Mr. Willig brings 20 years of national and international leadership experience to Nuprecon - with nearly a decade of them driving development for demolition and other specialty contractors.
Eric Maughan, EWR Business Development Manager
Eric Maughan Mr. Maughan brings over 18 years of experience in the abatement and demolition fields to his role as Business Development Manager of Nuprecon’s Environmental Division, EWR. He has extensive experience in sales, estimating, project management, and innovative abatement and remediation techniques. He has held Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Contractor/Supervisor certifications in WA, OR, ID, MT, CA, NV, AZ, and HI as well as being nationally certified as a Mold Remediation Contractor/Supervisor. He currently sits on the board of directors for the Indoor Air Quality Association Seattle Chapter. His first-hand understanding of how environmental work is performed allows him to help clients plan and develop innovative and cost-effective approaches to their projects. He is responsible for developing new opportunities for Nuprecon and overseeing the EWR estimating team.
